Do you do entire frame replacements?
Yes. For brownstones especially — old frames settle and twist. We can rebuild a frame in pre-war conditions, or replace it entirely with new hardware that meets current building code.
Are your doors fire-rated?
For interior apartment doors that need to be fire-rated (NYC HPD requirement on multi-family), yes — we carry 20-minute and 60-minute rated solid-core slabs with the proper labels.
Do you work on automatic openers?
For ADA push-button openers and electronic strike releases, yes. We install, adjust, and service. We do NOT do residential garage door openers — that's a different trade.
Can you match my existing trim?
For most standard Brooklyn brownstone trim profiles, yes. For ornate or custom trim we'll send photos to a millwork partner and quote — usually 1–2 week lead.
